BOCA RATON, FL… Arnold N. Kimmel, 89, formerly of Philadelphia, Yardley, Long Beach Island, and Trenton, NJ, and a permanent resident of Boca Raton, Florida since 1989, passed away July 1, 2017. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple School of Podiatric Medicine, he was a beloved podiatrist in Trenton for 38 years prior to his retirement. He was a medical officer in the 50th Armored Division of the NJ National Guard. He was Chief of Podiatry Service at Donnelly Memorial, St. Francis Medical Center, Hospital of N.J. Prisons (Trenton, Clinton, and Annandale), Hunterdon Medical Center, and attending Podiatrist at Greenwood House (Jewish Home for the Aged) and Bordentown Home for Gifted Children.

Dr. Kimmel sat on the Board of Directors of Greenwood House, Board of Trustees of Adath Israel Congregation, and the Long Beach Island Foundation. He served two terms as President of the Boca West Homeowners Association and President of the Laurel Oaks Condo Association.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife Estelle Eisen Kimmel, he is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years Lenore (Lenny) Kimmel. Arnie  leaves his three children, Margo Petersen, Richard Kimmel (Suzanne), and Barbara Boyd (Bill) and grandchildren: Benjamin Petersen, Jane Bentrott (Bryan), Lizzie Kimmel, Noah Kimmel, Matty Boyd, Tess Petersen, and Sam Boyd and two stepchildren, Brian Forman (Nancy) and Margee Forman. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Debby and Peter Goldman.

Funeral services are  Thursday July 6 at 1:00 pm at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel , 1534 Pennington Road Ewing Township with interment immediately following at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park  in Ewing Township. Family and friends are invited to return to the home of BJ and Bill Boyd at 2 Court Jester, Washington Crossing, PA where Shiva will be observed.
